The Fiero not only became the darling of the body kit crowd, but also the trikers. It’s even more adaptable than the old standby VW, since there were so many Fieros made with an automatic, eliminating the challenges of a shifter and clutch. Let’s take a look at what the web has to offer us…

I’ve saved what is undoubtedly the most unusual and creative one for last. This one reverses the usual set-up, with a wide stance on the front,
and a single wheel out back. This is a pretty serious undertaking, and undoubtedly could run circles around the rest. Looks like a V6 too. Posted at VWvortex.com
Too much time on one’s hands?
I’ve seen 3800, supercharged 3800 and V8 Fiero conversions, and they were sweet little cars. This Fiero trike stuff is… um… creative, but time better spent elsewhere perhaps.
I don’t think it’s so much too much time on their hands as the same thing that immediately springs to mind when I see a heavily customized Corvette: wrecked doaner car. My guess is that all Fiero trikes sprang from a Fiero that had suffered heavy front end damage and someone picked up dirt cheap, maybe even from a boneyard. Rather than part it out (which probably wouldn’t net much, anyway), these guys all convert them to some sort of quasi, open-air, transportation device.
It doesn’t sound like that horrible waste of time to get an open-air trike by mating some kind of wrecked motorcycle touring front end with the back of a wrecked Fiero, particularly when the Fiero doaner is the least desirable, slowest, low-end, four-cylinder, automatic commuter version.
At least if it catches fire, it will be easier to dismount…
I like the reverse trike some of the other efforts not so much having your head higher than the roll bar shows real intelligence, betting on commercial helmet tech to make up for your lack of welding ability, and the checker plate wing, really I’d love see that hit a gust of wind or pass an oncoming semi on a two lane at 60mph.
Well, back in the day people used to make trikes out of VW Bugs, so why not?
What a great idea. And even better, the two passengers get these really comfy seats with stereo speakers in the headrests. This is one I would much rather ride in than drive.
All but the last one are simply atrocious.

I saw this a number years ago. Again re-using a Fiero wheel at the front.
Wow. Taking a bad car and converting it into a brutally ugly trike. Just a horrible waste of time and money. Other than that, great work.
I like the last one. Very creative styling, and the wider front stance would help with stability. As for the rest…meh.
