I don’t think I’m giving away too much by stating the obvious: this is an artifact of the Great Brougham Era. Now which car was graced by this delightful fillip? I suppose it could have found itself into more than one. Anyway, kudos to Dave Saunders for recognizing the back of the BRAT.

1976 Olds 98 Regency? Looks like it’s on the instrument panel.
1972 Cadillac. Possibly an Eldorado, Fleetwood Sixty Special Brougham, or maybe a deVille. They all had the same basic dash back then. Passenger Dash area, to the left of the clock. The 72’s had that rich reddish wood. Much more expensive looking than the ’71 woodgrain.
What’s interesting (or scary) to contemplate is that someone got paid to concept, design and source that little fillip. Wonder if it ever made it into someone’s portfolio?
Not being up on ’70s woodgrain patterns, I would only guess this is from a full size something-or-other. It’s not a Vega GT dash, I’m sure of that…
Mid 70s upscale GM. Probably Cadillac, but possibly Buick or Olds. GM used a lot of ugly molded plastic wood “carvings” on their dashboards during that time. This one looks to be ugly molded plastic metal made to look like pewter (or something).
That wood definitely looks Mopar. Possibly Imperial, or a lesser New Yorker.

71-73 Cadillac, they all used the same dash, dunno if there was a difference in wood trim from the standard and Fleetwood series cars so this little bric-a-brack is by the clock, which may or may not have roman numerals.
