Last-gen Riviera, all the way! Would still want one today.
I have one for sale…CHEAP!
I wouldn’t mind any of them, but it would also have to be the Riviera for me!
Semi-related: There’s a house in the middle of town with some interesting folks. Their main ride is a slightly-lowered Cadillac Brougham. Yesterday on the way in to church, I spotted something strange–they had made a last-gen Riv into a two-seat convertible! The roof had been replaced with those aerodynamic headrest things and everything was still Bondo-colored, but it looked to be a very well-done job from what I could see from the road.
Riv. for pleasure, S-10 for work! (not that I’d turn up my nose at the T.C. though!)
Put me down for the Lincoln. It would be a good going to town car.

I will armwrestle you for the TC. However, there is something about that S-10 that appeals to my appreciation for crude-but-tough vehicles, so if your biceps are better developed than mine (which is probable), I will be happy enough with the trucklet.
I would take the S-10, it looks like it is ready to load it up and drive off.
I find the smaller trucks more practical then the larger trucks for me.
+1 on that! Having a huge bed is nice, but I’m not about to lift “crap” up 6′ to put it in that bed!
Riv all the way…it’s one of my favorite cars of the ’90s.

The dashboard on those Rivs can really be improved dramatically by installing fake wood trim or fake metal trim or whatever trim. Too much monochrome plastic otherwise. Example:

Agree! It’s a Buick for gawds sake! some “brougham” should be there! Other than that, Nice Car!
It’s very hard to convey ‘prestige’ in a car with a monochrome interior.
It’s the Town Car for me. I never have cared for the last generation Riviera’s, although they are very nice cars. I owned the twin to that S10 several years ago. An ’87 model with the 2.8 V6 and automatic and a short bed (the one in the photo looks like a long bed). It was a great truck and it lived at my house for about twelve years.
Much as I might want a Buick Riviera, the styling of this generation tips me to the Town Car.
Take the S10, for sure… That’s the only one that looks like a true classic now. Love the 1st gen 1982-93 squared styling.
The others look too new, to be even thought of to be classic, IMO.
If it were any other generation of Riviera, I would take it… But that round, blob is UGLY. Looks like a stretched Beretta. No thanks. That thing looks like a giant catfish.
Now, the Town Car, would be my second choice… RWD, V8 and a brougham… What’s not to like?
