Oooooh, a Citroen GS! Droool! BTW the scene could be nothing more than a flat tire. The GS stores its spare tire under the hood, on top of the engine.
A flat tire could not have been the cause of the roadside repairs because certain Citröen’s like the DS, GS (this car), Sm, and CX have hydro-pneumatic/self-leveling suspensions and cars with these suspensions have no change in ride quality or drivability if a tire goes flat or gets lost in some other way.
