1963-4 Buick LeSabre/Wildcat
Definitely a car from the “Laurence Jones 1960s Obsession Collection” – and I mean that with all respect. 😛
This post is going to be chockful of 1960s obsession reference points.
Something from Mopar — a New Yorker is my guess — circa 1965-67.
Or a 1968-1975 Mopar A-body. But whatever it is, it reeks of Mopar.
I’d say that either the banner ad under the photo is a clue to the content, or that it being a Chrysler ad is leading the guesses in that direction. (I will go along with that, however.)
I’d say the mention of a K-car in the post is what’s bringing up the Challenger ad.
I think it’s a 1964 Buick (ribbed texture seems to separate it from 63), with optional air conditioning, which was a big deal then. I’ll guess Electra. Very nice cars, those, with classy interiors.
