OK, so Mini CCs are not really getting much attention from you, the viewer, but I thought it worth showing how diverse the scale model arena is getting lately. Who ever would have expected one of these ’50s Studebakers to be available in anything but a $100+ Brooklin Models variant?
Currently an orange ’52 R2 pickup is also available through M2, along with a ’56 F100 pickup, ’58 Chevy Apache tow truck and ’57 Fargo COE stake bed (I kid you not). Doors and hood open, and all models come in a clear plastic display case. Not bad for six bucks! I think some vintage 1/64-scale Farmall, Ford and John Deere tractors would go perfectly with this. You could create your own Ed Stembridge mini-farm…
thats cool Tom I have been giving model cars away lately I gave my mate with all the old tractors a matchbox 1913 Cadillac last week as he sold the one he restored so I gave him an unworn spare.
A childhood friends parents had a real Studebaker that model for use on their vineyard as Eastern European refugees they had been liberated by troops driving Studebakers and though much of them, but for some reason they also drove an Imperial of 61 vintage not a Stude car. Most of my other models are played with by my bros 5yr old best keep the site running Paul I’m training more.
My uncle owned a ’52 Studebaker pickup in this color, sort of pre-faded medium blue. He was a registered Black Angus breeder in Mercer Co., IL. Both doors featured an image of a black angus and my uncle’s name. I think it threw a rod and and sat on the farm for years. If nothing else, I would love to have one of those doors, they were a work of art.
Just spent a couple hours at the Studebaker National Museum on Friday, as I had some business to attend to in South Bend. Beautiful facility; I highly recommend it if you are in the area.
They had a bunch of these miniatures in the Museum store. The only full-size one had a standard pickup box.

They’re certainly not limited just to me. It’s just that they haven’t been generating a lot of interest lately, so I’ve been focusing on full-sized CCs.
This is depressing news. I’ve got my tabletop photo setup ready to go with lights, stands, and all that good ole stuff. Actually, I need to document my toy collection. Sharing it with the CC Comentariat is just a bonus.
I was disappointed too. I have so many cool old models–just in Sixties Corgi toys, I have sixty or more–including the way cool 1967 Lehmann-Peterson Continental limo with light-up TV in the back.
Help yourselves, just not as the main CC of the day.

Ok, but could I still do a Mini CC Clue?
I for one enjoy the mini CCs. I recently bought some 1/43 stock, a Mack B, a ’48 Pete log monster and a Ford Roadway cabover delivery van. I’ll never own any real trucks, so why not?
