1986 XJ6
Don’t know if I can pin it down that precisely, but I’m with you, it’s an XJ. Just for s**ts and giggles, I’ll say XJ with a Chevy 350 conversion.
My first thought was XJ6, but I have a nagging thought that XJ6s should have a fuel cap where the aerial is in the photo.

Would it be possible to change the underlying architecture of this site so that a click on these pictures would open a large version? It might give me a chance to get one of these.
It’s not the underlying architecture; it just depends on the size photo that was uploaded by the author. Often authors don’t remember to shoot a specific Clue shot, close up. Then it would be a large photo, and clickable to full size – IF the author loaded it up in a large format.
Sometimes I have to create a Clue out of the shots that are available, which means it often ends up being very small. I regret that, but sometimes that’s just all there is. But I will try again to encourage all authors to shoot Clue shots.
Please do encourage the authors to give us a high resolution clue. Previous post is absolutely correct. Many are very difficult to see.
Also, please be sure to thank all the authors for their good work. We all get lots of enjoyment from what they write.
I had a specific Clue shot, but I switched it, as I thought it was too easy. Obviously, it didn’t matter as it was ID’d right off the bat – again!

Jaguar XJS Convertible? This is of the front of the car and it is a convertible. I must admit when I first saw it I thought it was the back of an XJ40.
