The batting average for yesterday’s two Clues was 500. Very good, considering the DeLorean Clue was mighty obscure. acd gets the win for the Corolla FX16. Let’s see who gets this one.

My first thought was a ’63 or ’64 Buick. Hmmm, maybe a Riviera.
’64 Full-size Ford…speaking of 500.
Hey Paul, don’t know if you ever saw this video but Alan Jackson’s father worked at a Ford factory, so he grew up w/Fords and even owned a ’55 T-Bird as his first car.
In this video, as the lyrics reference a ’64 short-bed Ford F-100…guess what pops on screen? It’s correct down to the cart springs in front. (The “jeep” in the last verse is a nice surprise – a 1st gen Bronco)
So many videos/TV/movies play fast and loose with reality so it’s nice to see one that gets it right. Alan’s a car guy thru and thru so it should be no surprise.
And I wouldn’t be surprised if he reads CC.
I agree with Ford, but ’64 full-size, I’m not sure.
BTW, I had a Crown Vic rental car this week (a 2011, so one of the last made)…I think I may have caught the Panther bug. Not necessarily the best car around but the most “American” car still widely available (even if they’re not building any more).

I’m thinking a 1966 Riviera with the hidden headlights in the down position.
