An FB Vauxhall Victor, like jim said, but the wagon version. And if it’s in the US/Canada it could be the Envoy (Sherwood?) badged version. 1962ish? Hope it is, I’d be keen to read a write-up!
That’s a 1956-58 Alfasud D4. It was imported in small quantities to Canada but never to the US. Thus, it is virtually unknown to Americans even though the D4 is arguably the first true hatchback sedan.
In Europe the D4 was made famous by an early Fellini film that included a cameo performance by Alfonso Hokey, creator of the “Hokey Pokey.” Hokey played a bank heist victim. The left foot of his corpse fell out of a D4 when border police opened the hatch. An intense chase scene ensued with Hokey’s foot bouncing up and down in the air.
