1961 Imperial
Something about this pic says taillight cluster of a mid-1960s Chevy.
1959 Imperial.
Masterfully cropped, Paul. Done so that what the brain fills in outside the edges of the image will be just the opposite of what is there.
I was almost fooled into thinking it was a ’59 Imperial because of the heavy headlight doors, (it’s not a ’61 because the headlights are not free standing) but the spear would keep going down the fender side on a MOPAR.
You can’t really see the “Dagmar” fender swell of because of the cropping, but I’ll wager it’s there. The camera angle also allows you to imagine a wider grille at top than bottom, but it is, again, an illusion.
I see a 1961 AMC Ambassador.
Yes ! I too was originally wandering around MOPAR cars from 59 to 61, but I now believe you’re right, although some chrome trim may be missing.

So do I, I had a Montego rose sedan and this looks very familiar, except mine had all the trim.

My first guess was the rover “Curiosity” had finally discovered life on Mars.
Otherwise, I’ll guess 1958 Imperial.
’61 – ’63 Imperial Made sense once I could see the lights,
No clue what it is but it needs a bath to get the cobwebs off

This has Virgil Exner’s paws all over it, in my opinion. Looks more like a truck than a car though…
I thought Corvair bit am keen to know what it actually is as my early Corvairs didn’t have that typ of trim…..
