I spotted this on a back street in Tonopah, NV. I’ve seen lots of odd and different loads hauled in pickup beds, but never its own cab.

Some people like to sit up high.
Well, we have the Carolina Squat, and now the Nevada Lift and Jerk.
Looks far too new to get scrapped out .
I imagine someone is making yet another pickup bed based trailer .
Beatty, Nev. is also home to an amazing amount of old junk and dead cars, trucks and even Motocycles scattered about .

Been there, done that–actually, I didn’t MAKE mine but spent much time fixing them up after attaining them from people who no longer needed them. I’ve definitely gotten good use out of them! 🙂

Beds and cabs used to be shipped from there to the midwest for pickup owners to replace their rusty ones. Maybe still?
Not just in the midwest, but here in New England as well. I did it on at least one of my small trucks back in the day when the beds would rust out well before the cab became un-usable. Changing over the bed was not much more difficult than changing a tire, although it did help to have a helper.
