You see it in the PT, I see it in this lovely concept sitting at the Walter P. Museum in Auburn Hills…
If you see it in the PT, you’ll probably see it in the Prowler too.
Right. PT was supposed to be a Plymouth, and that grille was supposed to be the new Plymouth signature, like the Dodge crossbars. Then Daimler came along and killed the brand.
Aw it’s no worse than comparing the old late 70s to late 80s Lincoln “upright” grille to one on a class Rolls Royce. (Which many people did.)
Gah! You’ve done it to me too! I was driving on the highway yesterday and noticed the styling similarities between the K310 and the 2005-2010 Chrysler 300. Upright square-ish chrome grille with a pattern of squares in the opening. Headlight surrounds are round on the outside, and butt-up against the grille surround on the inside.
