Road Trip Outtakes: 1949 Hudson Super Six

This report was post-recorded for replay at an earlier time, as Wife and I will be tent camping in Yellowstone for a couple days and CC-spotting will probably be unlikely. On our way through South Dakota, we happened to stop for gas at the same exit as the Pioneer Auto Show. Unfortunately our schedule did not permit a visit, but I did take a couple minutes to shoot this nice-looking Hudson I spotted in front of a close-by restaurant before we jumped back on the highway.

There’s just something about the lines of Hudsons from this era that gets my blood pumping…

The interiors as every bit as nicely styled as the exterior.

The Super Six was the entry level offering, but even so, this one sure looks like a million bucks!
