The name gives it away as a European version of the Grand Caravan, built in Graz, Austria in the former Steyr-Puch factory (later Magna). But with a high roof? That one slipped by me. Anyone ever see one?

Very interesting, seems like it didn’t increase the head room very much.
Seen a couple like this around the NL, and many more without the high roof. I could be wrong, and maybe the likes of Johannes knows more, but it seems like most of the Chrysler minivans left here have been converted to work vans. A lot of the vans I see have had the Chrysler badging removed from the liftgate and had it replaced with “Dodge Ram/ Van” badging…for whatever reason, maybe to make it easier (and cheaper) to register as a work vehicle.
Did these rust out at the front of the rear wheel arch, rockers, sliding doors and hatch after 4 years too?
That must be an aftermarket panel van conversion, for a registration as a commercial vehicle. Blinded side windows, rear seats out, flat cargo floor in. Not the whole roof is raised, there’s just a cut-out above the cargo compartment. You get a big plastic cover on top of the factory roof (as seen in the article’s picture and below) and the hole, to make the car (sorry, commercial van) look decent overall.
Just GIS “chrysler voyager grijs kenteken”. Loads of them.
There were similar aftermarket conversions in the US. I was inside one once as a kid. It allowed for an overhead CRT TV, VCR, and game console, but I don’t remember the interior feeling much bigger than a normal minivan.
Not here in Austria, I assume they were made for other EU markets.
