Early 50s Chrysler wagon tailgate?
Early 50s Chrysler wagons had tailgate hinges like this, but they were massive.
You’re right. I finally found a photo from the rear – they are huge.
I was thinking about the early 50s, but something told me the hinges were the wrong shape for those years. I didn’t think to look at the next generation (post above). As far as size, they look much more massive when you see the whole car.
In any event, they’re both great pieces of hardware.
