For those of youse rolling your eyes at my art-world wankeur, Financial Times has just announced that Dongfeng have taken a controlling interest in Peugeot. During negotiations, the Peugeot family were code-named ‘Picasso’, Dongfeng was ‘Degas’, GM was ‘Gauguin’ and the French State was ‘Fragonard’. No, I wasn’t involved in negotiations but its a fully sick CC effect for me. Hehehe.
