Late 50s Pontiac. Will go out on a limb and say ’58 Bonneville.

I also immediately thought of late ’50s Pontiacs, especially ’58 or ’59. I’ll go with the ’59 Bonneville. (though I recall the Star Chief used them in later model years as well)

Most Pontiac stars were symmetrical. Is this one of the three on the rear quarter of a ’66 Star Chief Executive?

1962 Pontiac Star Chief. Until last month’s trip to Cuba, it was the oldest car I’d ever ridden in – my mom’s car, white – when I was a baby.
Now the oldest is either a ‘51 Chevy or a ‘51 Buick taxi from the streets of Havana….here’s a picture of the (blue) ‘51 Chevy that picked us up from the airport….

1911 Baker Electric at Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome (link), driven by Cole Palen himself.
Hard to top that with Cole Palen at the tiller(wheel?). I was lucky enough to meet him 25 years ago and get an autograph. His vision was failing but his enthusiasm for the aerodrome was like static electricity. Amazing experience. Watching one of his very young pilots fly a Bleriot XI was beyond belief!
I don’t want to get impaled on that hood ornament!

Those who guessed Laurentian were correct. I cannot discount those who named the Star Chief also, as it did use those stars on its US made models. Great work everyone!
