Even as-is, still a better daily driver than the 1976 Dodge Aspen that succeeded it.
Too much ethanol in the fuel mix…
Overhead cambium.
I hear bush is back in.
The Dart Sport was one of the last of the good-looking Mopars, and with a 360 they were still fun. If I had the skills I’d save it.
I had a ’67 Dart GT with the Leaning Tower of Power and TorqueFlite. Became SWMBO’s “first car”. She developed an attachment to the GT. Totaled by a teen driver who missed a stop-sign because his short-bus passenger decided that the windshield of that car was the perfect place for a pillow.
I replaced the broken ’67 with a ’75 Dart Sport, also with Leaning Tower of Power and TorqueFlite. We hated that car. Non-power disc front brakes needed excess pedal effort due to the lack of self-energizing action. Lack of a front sway-bar meant the thing wallowed in turns. And of course, there was the additional weight of the newer body with battering-ram bumpers. We got rid of that car with no tears shed.
About the same color, green as our “Swinger”.
Well ;
Why not ? .
At least it’s still being enjoyed and not shredded and sent overseas o be made into cheap consumer products .

This reformed Demon, sister to the Duster has been there a while, judging from the size of that bush, but the dreaded “tin worm” hasn’t eaten it yet, if you can believe the pictures, so it might be worth saving. The engine has gone AWOL, however, but an LA small-block was an option, so a 340 or a 360 would drop right in!
I owned a slant-six powered Dart Sport. A very good car, but the NY salt was merciless on it. The one pictured probably had a 318 V8- the front end is sitting pretty high without the engine and the 340 Darts usually had prominent graphics announcing the engine size.
