Who could have believed it but these sprayers now fully equipped, in Western Canada, are running about a million dollars each for the big ones. Insane. In fact at High River Alberta the Deere dealer had a special order unit sitting there for 1.1 million summer before last.
Friday Deere stock hit an all time closing high – $413.15. The company is doing something very well.
A farmer I know bought a new MF 6715 tractor last summer. Meanwhile it has 700 hours on the clock. If he would return it to the dealership, he would get the whole 2021 purchase price back plus a € 5,000 bonus.
There’s a serious, worldwide demand/supply mismatch these days. And not only regarding new and recent farm equipment. It’s machinery and (rolling) commercial equipment in general. Let’s not even mention inflation.
