It screams late 60s/70s BL to me. Mini Clubman?
Austin 1100/1300,it should have Basil Fawlty giving it a good thrashing just off camera
Hmmm, the Clubman has grille trim on both sides of the headlight, so I’m thinking that’s wrong. Still getting a strong BL vibe, don’t think it’s an 1100/1300 though…maybe a Maxi?
HI,
Good call! Well done!
Please God, don’t let it be a Maxi….
Could be the Tasman, the down under land crab
Been a while since I last saw a Kimberley/Tasman here, but still the odd one floating around. The ones I’ve seen have square headlights though. My sister’s name is Kim, she got a set of the Kimberley badges from one in the early 90s but drew the line at the entire car lol!
I think it could a Maxi…
It is a maxi. The car that styling forgot.
Austin Maxi, Leyland’s effort to try to give an answer to the popular Renault 16.
Sorry Uncle Mellow, you hit it, spot on
