The last couple of Clues attracted a fair bit of interest, so let’s do another.
Please note: the rules of the Clue are no attacehd images or other “proof” of your guess. That’s so others can continue to keep guessing.
Looks like a Mopar hood engine call-out, maybe for a 383 or 340. I’m going to go with a 1969 Barracuda Formula-S.
I’ll second that. Formula S 340 Barracuda, ’68 or ’69.
Definite Mopar feel to this one,my brother had a 69 Barracuda fastback til he lost his storage space, the one car he regrets getting away
I thought those were only on the 1968?
Correct. It’s a ’68 Barracuda.
Formula S also 1969. Evolved into the ‘Cuda package the same year.
Hex – why?
Because Mopar?
Probably has left-hand threads, too.
But only on the drivers side.:P
No idea what it is but I’m not feeling the Mopar vibe.
@ Ed & Dan. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Right on!
Ikea Dormobile
69 Dart Swinger 340.
The hex seems very early ’80s. My Phoenix had Phillips, hex and torx screw heads. That is definitely a 3 there. Not finding anything on the net.
It’s definitely a Mopar hood decoration. I’m going to go with the consensus on the Barracuda.
I have seen a few of these at car shows. Definitely 2nd generation Barracuda Formula S
