I remember the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers doing something similar with an MG and a Plymouth.
When I saw this on the cohort, the only thing the mixture of Chrysler and polymer could remind of was the Dodge Caliber.
A true shaggin’ wagon.
Owned several Saturns and found them to be attractive. Think this is carrying things a little far though. Could at least make a more attractive couple if it were a vue.
Only way to make this picture better would be if the front u-joint on the van failed…leaving the propeller shaft to drop on the Saturn’s bumper…..
Saw one of those oddball Saturns recently same as that one, no Dodge van tupping it though.

There’s something familiar about this Saturn,is it an American version of the Vauxhall/Opel Calibra?
Nope, but the rooflines are similar, the Saturn was a whole separate platform from any other GM car, not shared with anything else.
You may have seen one of these Saturns on UK roads Gem – they were built in RHD for the Japanese market. We’ve had a few of the RHD ones turn up-ex-Japan in NZ, maybe the odd one voyaged to the UK as a grey import.
Wow, our formerly PG website is becoming a bit R rated. When they develop such a strong mutual attraction, isn’t someone supposed to tell them to just get a room, er, garage.
