I think you’re right on the Merc. ’66 Mercs really aped the ’63 Pontiac tail lamp design-but that rollunder in the tailgate bottom spells Ford.
Same here. I can’t be that specific as to year but this jumps out at me as resembling my neighbors’ late-’60s Mercury from when I was a kid.
