I was thinking the same thing. My best friend once had a ’78 Luv back in the early 90’s. Great if a bit under powered little trucks though.

Well it’s obviously a post-gas crisis pickup of Japanese origin. So a LUV would fit that bill and so would trucks made by a variety of Japanese makers.
