Time for a new gallery of recent finds by Ralf K (Don Kincl) uploaded at the CC Cohort. It’s a varied collection of curbside and junkyard finds, and as always, all lovingly captured by his skillful eye. The opening image is perhaps my favorite, though that’s mostly due to the fact that I’ve always liked the distinctive rugged looks of these early Jeep wagons.

Staying in the realm of wagons, let’s move forward a few decades with this Oldsmobile Ciera; a late 1980s model, I would guess. Time passes, but regardless, there always seems to be some GM A-body variant alive on the roads.
For something quite different, the classic lines of a 1959 Jaguar Mark I.
Tin Lizzies are undisputed classics. Here’s a 1922, making for a nice bittersweet scene against the greenery.
“Newest find in the yard” was the caption that came with this Subaru Brat. Also, almost too nice an old Subbie to be at the yard… but alas.

It’s back to the seventies with this 1972 Mustang battle-worn survivor, a capsule from the Muscle to Brougham days.

A 1961 4-door Buick Invicta hardtop at the yard.

It’s always fun to unexpectedly come across a way-into-the-past classic; this time a 1948 Chrysler, captured in Concord, MA.
We’ll close with a mean GM pair, a 1976-77 El Camino and a 1966 Pontiac Star Chief Executive.

Sweet ;
I remember when my local junkyards began getting Subaru Brats in cosmetic excellent shape, I imagine they had engine failures .

Ralf’s contribution is by far my favorite part of CC. I like to stare at the photo and wait for a fitting story to form in my head. It would be great to have knowledge of the real story. Pictures are worth 1000 words.
I’m astonished about that Model T, it looks relatively complete and in good condition too, no car over 100 years old would be left outside like that here unless it was utterly beyond restoration
