Nathan Williams caught something a bit different rolling down a busy street in London: a 1956 Chevy pickup with what he identified as a large potato sack in its bed. Bringing home the spuds, presumably.
I’m not quite familiar with what a “potato sack” is exactly; perhaps it’s a term for just a large cargo bag like this generically, or?

That looks like good old Goldhawk Road, near Shepherds Bush. I’ve seen several examples of old American iron down there over the years. There used to be (maybe still is) a dealer specialising in these things somewhere along Goldhawk Road or Uxbridge Road nearby.
You are correct, the Sindercombe Social’s address is 2 Goldhawk Road at the corner with Shepherd’s Bush Green so th etruck is heading west on Goldhawk Road.
It was Cliff Davis American Cars on Goldhawk Rd, just past the Seven Stars pub.
Brewdog was a Tesco store and featured in Quadrophenia.
The surrounding vehicles are pretty eye-opening to me, who hasn’t been in the UK for over 15 years. In addition to the cabs and a generic minivan/people mover, a Tesla and two Priuses. So TWO American vehicles.

The wheel arches on the back don’t look quite right…
I think the wheel arches are okay it seems to be running with a wide set of tires and wheels. Look how deeply the wheels are recessed.
I came across this slightly incongruous sight in February this year, on a side street near my neighbourhood in south-central London. From looking up the license plate, I found it’s a black 1970 Ford with a 360.
Not sure why…

Nice ute I see a few of those old Chevs over here too they are popular we couldnt get em new but now all the import rules have relaxed they are coming in, and now that overseas travel is a thing of the past people are buying stuff.
I suspect the bag says “Travis Perkins” on it. If so it was not intended for potatoes.
