Photoshopped. You don’t see the 59 Chevy batwing fins in the 1st shot.
Thanks for putting my mind at ease. However, I still consider it a crime to even think of doing this!
The angle of the Edsel grille doesn’t quite match that of the rest of the car
This reminds me of an awful car that was offered in the late 1990’s or early 2000s. It was a limited production custom car that combined the styling of a 55, 57 and 59 Chevy. Much like the Shoebox Thunderbird conversions, but much uglier. I used to see them offered in some of the car magazines that I subscribed to, but I can’t find any images on the net.

Those batwings weren’t exactly aerodynamic, at least not in the proper way for a car. Imagine how skittish the rear end must have gotten at triple digit speeds.
Especially when used in car chase film like this one from a Scandinavian movie titled “Olsen-banden på spanden”.

The greenhouse looks like the recent Camaros, but the timeline would be wrong.

Feeling sad for the ’57 210 next to this, um, bad photoshop monstrosity. How does it look like a C3 (with a ’59 Edsel grill) from the front and a ’63 C2 split-window from the rear?!
Minus the batwing rear, this actually looks a bit like something Delorean might have come up with at Pontiac, sort of an early Banshee prototype.
I was in a thrift store last year, and heard a woman shout “Banshee !”. Then a little boy ran up to her. True story.
If it weren’t a Photoshop job, I’d say it was denying the grille to someone who might actually need it to restore a ’59 Edsel.
Nothing lines up the batwings arent square on with the car and the front isnt right either so its a photoshop for my money.
I like this enough to be disappointed it’s not real.

Someone should re-post the photo of the Miata with the ’59 Caddy-fins.
OTOH, I think many of today’s bizzarro-cars might look better with a batwing or an Edsel grille!
