These would fit right in at the Gambler 500, which runs an event in Central Oregon most years. I’d go for a milder version of the 240 Pickup since the coupe utility style with quarter windows from a sedan really suits the 240 and 740.
The pickup would benefit from a chopped top and the windshield, backlight and side glass from a 262C. Might as well make it an extended cab and use the quarter windows. But I like it plenty as it is.
I’m not a Volvo guy, but I love them! Especially that yellow pickup. Not that the Zebra is bad either. But those all are great, and at least from a distance appear to be very well done.
Thanx for the link – some of them EPA’s are really wild and wacky, and one may wonder that in the land of a rather rational thinking and which did so many things regarding vehicle safety these cars are even legal.
Switch to Germany where I live…the inspectors of the service organizations here would either die on the spot from a number of issues, calling in the GSG or demanding a high bakshish plus some sexual favors on top for a registration of street legality for such a vehicle.

They were covered here at CC https://www.curbsideclassic.com/automotive-histories/regional-car-culture-explained-the-history-of-the-swedish-a-traktor/

#77 makes me think Jeep XJ
? Why not ? .
There’s no shortage of ‘end of life’ Volvos, I applaud the time and effort here, art cars are always very subjective .
