I couldn’t resist throwing in one last snow-themed photo… if memory serves, this was taken in 1982 after the big Atlanta Snow Jam storm.
So what was residing in the engine bay at the time?
I still had the sleeved 2300 with the GT head (warmer cam) and tuned headers. I know of at least one Vega out there that has a 4-71 blower on a 2300 engine:

Yes indeed. Fiats were pretty rare here in the QC, though we now have a new Fiat dealer in Davenport. I MUST test-drive a new 500 sometime this summer!

This was brought up in the 124 piece a couple of days ago, the Vegas was styled like the Camaro in the nose and a 124 coupe in back.
I’m not really a GM fan that much (big ol’ Caddies excepted) but damn the Vega 2 door sedan is sexy!
I preferred my 1974 Vega GT Hatchback. The one that the hatch back hinges snapped off and knocked me down in the driveway.
