Has that got a roof from a BMW e39?
Or did someone sneak a whole e39 over and is disguising it with the bodywork from a Rambler and some classic wheels?
Those door handles suggest an E34, not an E39.
Very cool, and quite a tribute to the ingenuity of Cuban mechanics and body shop people. I wonder what’s under the hood. Maybe an East Bloc or Japanese diesel? Maybe a gas V8 from an old Soviet ZIL truck or GAZ Chaika limo? Whatever makes it move. Nice shot.
My inspection guy has a wagon that model V8 with factory air not quite roadworthy but its all there
It’s a Sportsroof version.
Wow. That reminds me of this.
Even without considering the roof, the Cuban improved on Ed Anderson’s style. The front fenders and fins are more graceful than Ed’s actual ’58. Beautiful work.
Wow.
It reminds me of a GAZ-3111
