Got a car story to tell with our community? If so, this may be your chance, since we’re once again searching for new COAL contributors here at CC. Should you be new to the term, it’s our Cars Of A Lifetime section; a place to share your car experiences with us. We all had them; from the joyful to the troublesome ones, and even the shortlived ones. From the vehicles of our parents to those we owned and helped us build our automotive memories.
If you’re interested but fear you don’t have what it takes, don’t overthink it. If you’ve engaged in social media or other online commenting, you’re halfway there. Just contact us at [email protected] with a list of the cars you plan on covering and let us know what you have in mind.
I can highly recommend writing for CC. I’ve not done much here in a bit due to other commitments.
The fact that I now own another cheap 80s hooptie certainly isn’t helping, but it might end up being chronicled here one day. Still, you don’t need to have some exotic or adventurous lifestyle to have something to write about.
I guess it counts as CC effect that as I was reading this post, I was hearing the following on radio streaming… 🙂
Which of course, barely holds a candle (carbide lamp) to Devo’s 1981 version.
Looord. I am soooooo tired…
Innocently sitting here after getting “Eat Steak” by The Reverend Horton Heat out of the constant loop it has been playing in my head for the last two days. And now Doo, Di, Doo. Doo Doo Di Doo…. has replaced it.
Thanks I guess.
I probably still have the New Traditionalists cassette in a box.
And as for COAL. It really was an interesting experience and writing enhanced and brought back a lot of memories. Like rolling along in FIAT 128 with a Realistic 40W Tape Deck listening to Devo.
How long can this go on?😄
COAL contributions vary in duration. Some can be one time submissions, others have multiple entries. If you’re interested, just let us know what you have in mind at [email protected]
