Maybe you recall my post some time back about the 1980 Bonneville Brougham coupe. Well, the very same company offers a Mark VI Signature Series sedan. Since today seems to be Mark VI Day (sorry Carmine–I’ll do a Caddy CC soon), I thought the time was right. I kind of want one…it looks especially fetching in dark red.

You can get one in two-tone gold (“Fawn” in Lincoln-speak) too. Or, if these don’t float your boat, how about a black over red Mark VII?

The Mark VII just looks wrong with those wide whitewalls. The Mark VIs just look wrong period. 🙂 Your knowledge of these miniatures continues to amaze me.
I’m the only one that seems to like the VI–even my Grandpa Bob shunned them when they were new. I’m a man without a country 🙂

I like VIIs, in fact, I ONLY like IIIs and VIIs.
Nothing wrong with these mini’s of course, but why on earth are there no first gen Taurus or third gen Focus sedan diecasts? I’d pay good money for those.
Oh, but they do Mr. Snitkoff. Do you like Robocop? This is a 1/43 scale model by Motor Max, and you can get one on Amazon–probably ebay too.
These things are beautiful, but I’m a bit taken aback at how much they cost. And the Lincolns aren’t even made of metal! Maybe I just don’t pay enough attention to the scale-car market.

These things make me ashamed to be an American.
I Totally want this one. It begs for a lever to rotate the covered headlights. I Love these models that I can not afford, nor do I have the space to showcase more than a few of them.
