I have no idea where this came from. I was going through my increasingly hard-to-manage downloads file, looking for something else, and I stumbled unto this. I don’t even remember downloading it; it may have been years ago. But it’s time to share it; what am I waiting for?
What’s an original pink 500 KR worth?
I am thinking she is Playboy magazine’s Playmate of the Year… they always gave the girls weird, fantasy cars– cars that men would like, but not necessarily women)… but then, how many of Playboy’s readers would have drooled over a typical chick car, say a pink VW Beetle convertible?
Playboy always gave their PMOY’s pink cars. The beautiful girl above is PMoY 1969 Connie Kreski with her 1969 Pink Shelby GT500 with 428 Cobra Jet. Here’s some other snapshots from my vast electronic library of all things Playboy:

I dunno, a 1973 Volvo 1800 ES wasn’t too bad a car. It has a CC on here. But yeah, I gotta agree with you on the Capri and the Charger.

This is a 1969 model. KR’s were 1968 only, the moniker used only to distinguish between 428 CJ (KR’s) versions and the earlier 428 non-CJs. (essentially Police Interceptors)
In ’69, all 428s were CJs.

The AMX?
As a playmate she used the stage name Angela Dorian, but her real name was Victoria Vetri. She kept the car, and had it painted black, as the pink car attracted a little too much attention.
Whether she still has the AMX is a good question, as in 2011 she was sentenced to nine years in prison for attempted murder after shooting her fourth husband. There was a photo of her in court, and let’s just say that the years have not been kind, even considering that she is in her 60s. Supposedly she has struggled with drug and alcohol abuse.
Dude… makes me want to “try” for POTY. Don’t give me no god damn motorcycle, though…

The real prizes in the Playboy collection may be the two Mercedes 600 Pullman limos Hef owned or the 1959 300SL roadster he still owns.
Still, the list of cars gives the impression that Playboy’s editors surely knew their cars as well as other things.
Those Pullman limos are beaucoup sweet.
One of my favorite images from EVER is a stoned Crosby stills and nash emerging from Stills’ Pullman for an impromptu gig held at Essalen in Big Sur . awesome!

Indelibly etched in my mind is an image from a movie call ‘Celebration at Big Sur’ . Crosby, Stills & Nash all roll out of Stills’ Merc Pullman in a fog of ‘funk’ for an impromptu gig at Essalen in Big Sur. Awesome.
That car has been my Win the Lottery car ever since the moment I saw that movie in the early 80s. the ultimate FU automobile.
