Seemingly out of place, this heavy Volvo FH truck, parked next to the curb in an old town center (although the buildings on the left are relatively new). Its driver didn’t go shopping for sure.

The small hatchback in the foreground is a 2025 Kia Picanto, powered by a 998 cc three-cylinder. The car on the left in the picture -entering the scene- is a 2021 Volkswagen T-Roc, perfectly visualizing how towering top segment cabovers are.

The 6×2*4 straight truck with low profile tires comes with a flatbed swap body, the 2016 Volvo is rated at a gross weight of 27 tonnes (59,525 lbs). The truck’s trailer coupling is hiding in the dark, down below.

And here’s the stand-alone trailer, a 1998 Lako with two 10 tonnes axles. Therefore, its GVWR is 20 tonnes (44,092 lbs).

Given the low bed height and the loading ramps, the trailer must also have carried the Manitou forklift, used at the construction site. The 2018 Iveco Daily box truck on the right was also participating in the building activities.

There, the whole party tent structure stands firmly on the ground (usually a parking lot). Once completely finished -inside and outside- the beer can flow freely.

Now about that orange Volvo truck. After a quick search, it turned out that its first job was hauling hay and straw. I bet driving deep into town centers didn’t come with the territory (courtesy of Louis Venhorst Fourage).
