Vintage Snapshot: Me And My 1941 Chevy COE Truck

There’s nothing I like better in an old photo than to see both the vehicle and its owner or driver. This is a great shot, and it reminds me how truck technology evolves in a somewhat consistent pattern everywhere.

What I mean is that this type of bed with its wood body and tarpaulin cover is exactly like the ones that are still plying the roads of developing countries all over the globe.
