JPC pitched a slider, and nobody hit the Wagoneer. This should be a lot easier.

W124
That was my 1st thought as well.
I thought it was a Mercedes 190, but after looking at it closer it probably is a W124.
Agree with w124. w201 didn’t have the trunk designed to reduce liftover like that. I don’t think I’ve seen one in that color, though. Grayer than blue and bluer than gray.
Humber Super Snipe.
Yeah nar definitely not a Super Snipe I would post rootes group clues but I’m the only one. Mercedes Benz dont know the exact model
I would say ’95-’99 Mercedes S420 (W140). Had one in this color.
85-93 W124
late 80s early 90s Mercedes E class sedan
That’s a W124 for sure. Almost too easy, as it’s still fairly common sight in my neck of the wood. No other car had a trunk corner like that, I think.
Mercedes E-class (W124) sedan, then – it’s settled. Manufactured from 1986 to ’95. I recall reading in one of the specialist mags that this E-class had a Cd of 0.28 – pretty impressive in 1986, and quite unexpected from such a conservative 3-box design.
