Haha!
I don’t even like the 500 – a people-squasher propelled by a paint-mixer, suspended by swing axles, I mean, really – but this photo makes it a 300SL.
Phew! Kinda hot in here, ain’t it?
Now, to (mis)quote Scott of the Antarctic (and in the current absence of a partner):
“I am going to the bathroom. I may be some time.”
Nice pic, but…
Maybe it’s a trick of shadows or something but the woman looks quite emaciated. Has that starvation-ribcage-popping-out look that kind of creeps me out.
She is dreaming of a sandwich. Dude looks fit but not starving.
Maybe he ate all the sandwiches.
I just want to know why they bothered going to a beach if they were going to face away from the water, and close their eyes.
I think they are “tanning”.
Starving woman doesn’t have enough vitamin A for healthy skin anyway, so what the heck?
An Italian beach? You mean it isn’t Clacton?
Oh wow! It’s Lupin the Third’s car!
Please, hop in and say hello to Mello Yellow. You’re not going anywhere fast. So set the (nonexistent) cruise control to Chill and press play. You know the rest.
Too bad there were no other cars parked there (what, in London?) for comparison purposes. If you’ve never seen an original 500 in real life, well, they are seemingly impossibly small for something that one person is supposed to travel in, not to mention four. But they did.
