Today’s What If originates from the fertile keyboard of Andre Shaefer, whose website cwwcardesign.com is full of his re-imaginings, old and new.

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that I like this. Put this in OD or camo and it would fit right in with a batch of other things I like. Too many windows though. My idea of a good van is one that doesn’t allow a bystander to inventory your tools. Otherwise, good job.
I am certain it would beat the hell out of a Caravan!
Honestly, I think that’s uglier than an Aztex.
X2, though maybe he gets an E for effort.
I love the W116 but that’s an abomination.
Better looking than the vans they were making back then.
Thumbs up on the suicide doors.
Look closer, they slide. MINIVAN… but Suicide Doors would be sweet.
Doesn’t seem too conceptually distant from the D309.
Wow, it’s an upscale Wagonqueen Family Truckster!
Well I know I just spent an hour on the cwwcardesign website… Some totally awesome ideas there!
Weidest car ever to base a minivan on
Looks like a Ford Clubvan with a Mercedes front end.
A familiarity with Daimler’s stock images tells me there’s an M-100 in that hideous assemblage. Unless sold prior to fund the button clicking, of course.
I’d rather consider the W116 funeral version, as advertised here: http://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/showDetails.html?id=132917168
